The Chosen Ones Imam Jawād

There can be no doubt that the most astonishing story within the whole of creation is the story of man’s vice-regency [of God] on Earth. And if we look with insight into this matter, man’s superiority and dignity over the other creatures within creation is on account of this great bounty of God’s having endowed man with the honor of being His vice-regent on Earth. Almighty God adorned mankind with the faculty of intellection and the ability to reason, and after testing him before the angels, entrusted him with the Trust of His vice-regency on Earth – A Trust the burden of responsibility of which the heavens, and the earth, and the mountains could not endure and therefore refused to take on.
