So! You are ready to learn Spanish? Good for you because Spanish is a widely-used
colorful language! I was born in the USA, but I have lived most of my nearly 50 years in Costa Rica. I always admire people that enjoy visiting other countries where a different language is spoken. You see, I was 12 when we moved to Costa Rica with my family. Learning the language was no big deal for me. I remember just repeating whatever my classmates and friends said whether it was correct or not. I very quickly picked it up. But that wouldn’t be the case at this point in life! I would be afraid that people would laugh at me or that I would make som embarrassing mistake. I have noticed that this is pretty normal when it comes to learning a new language.
